Drip Brewing
Drip brewing is a popular process that utilizes an all-in-one machine to control timing and temperature. This method highlights the delicate flavors in a coffee, bringing cleanness and acidity forward as the filter traps oils.
In general, drip machines call for one to two tablespoons of ground coffee per every six ounces of water. We recommend grinding your coffee at home right before brewing to serve the freshest-tasting cup. Finely ground coffee will prolong steeping time. If using a paper filter, rinse it clean with water first.
Drip brewing is a good choice for high-quality, beans with complex profiles. We recommend our Sirocco, Cubano, Boreas, Organic Colombian, and Reserve Coffee for this method.

Espresso Brewing
Espresso brewing forces pressurized hot water through finely ground coffee beans to shorten your brew time and produce a concentrated, full-bodied beverage. Emulsified oils in the resulting demitasse serving lend espresso both depth and sweetness.
To yield a standard 2-ounce shot, grind between 7-8 grams (or one heaping tablespoon) of coffee into your basket and tamp to compact. The ideal grind texture is similar to that of powdered sugar. Using filtered water is highly recommended both for taste, and for the health of your machine.
Special blends and single origin beans can provide a balanced taste profile with rich golden crema on top. We recommend brewing espresso with our Mistral, Cubano, or Boreas varieties.

French Press
A favorite among connoisseurs, the French press method produces a dense, creamy cup of coffee that’s rich with aromatics. Your freshly ground beans are immersed to brew in a carafe of hot water before being filtered out with a plunging device.
The French press calls for roughly one tablespoon of coarse-ground coffee per every six ounces of water. Dial in your own ratio and brew time for a personal recipe that’s just your taste.
French press is an excellent brewing method for a consistently delicious and bold beverage. We recommend using our Mistral, Sirocco, Bali Blue Moon, and Reserve Coffee blends.

View collectionPour Over Brewing
For a clean, bright cup of coffee, pour-over brewing is an increasingly enjoyed choice. Controlling the timing and distribution of water extracts subtle flavors from your favorite beans.
This method calls for about 25 grams (5 tablespoons) of medium-grind coffee. Bring filtered water to a boil and let it stand for 30 seconds. Pre-infuse by dampening coffee grounds with a small amount of water to release gases built up during roasting, then complete your pour in a spiral motion to saturate.
Reusable metal filters are a great alternative to paper, while cloth provides thorough filtration and an extra-clean beverage. We recommend pour-over brewing with our Bali Blue Moon, Rwanda. Organic Colombian and Reserve Coffee.
