Pour Over Brewing
For a clean, bright cup of coffee, pour-over brewing is an increasingly enjoyed choice. Controlling the timing and distribution of water extracts subtle flavors from your favorite beans.
This method calls for about 25 grams (5 tablespoons) of medium-grind coffee. Bring filtered water to a boil and let it stand for 30 seconds. Pre-infuse by dampening coffee grounds with a small amount of water to release gases built up during roasting, then complete your pour in a spiral motion to saturate.
Reusable metal filters are a great alternative to paper, while cloth provides thorough filtration and an extra-clean beverage. We recommend pour-over brewing with our Bali Blue Moon, Rwanda. Organic Colombian and Reserve Coffee.
