Last night, the 11th annual Good Burger Awards were held at Coastal Creative located in St. Petersburg, FL. In case you don't know, in honor of a former mayor who referred to his citizens as “burgers” (as in St. Petersburgers), the Good ‘Burger Awards were established to honor large and small business owners, and community leaders who contribute in a positive way to make St. Pete the special town it is.
Throughout the night, people slowly gathered in the venue in anticipation of the award ceremony. Finally, the award ceremony began and the St. Pete Chamber of Commerce, who hosted the event, went on stage to start announcing winners in different categories. They eventually arrived upon the Eats & Treats category in which Kahwa was nominated with a slew of other top local restaurants and cafes. The host announced all the nominees and then announced the winner which was Kahwa Coffee Roasters!
After receiving the award, co-founders Raphael & Sarah Perrier said they were grateful to receive the award, thankful to everyone that voted for them leading up to the event and appreciate being able to be a part of an event like the Good Burger Awards.
Kahwa is looking forward to an exciting 2024 year that should be filled with fun projects and as always, amazing coffee.
